"Sponsored Weight-Loss"
Well it's me again, Catherine Lawton, the Hon. Secretary's daughter and once again I have got another job.
I am in the middle of organising a "SPONSORED WEIGHT-LOSS" which my father has willingly agreed to do (actually "willingly" might not be the right word to use as there was a lot of persuasion on David Wilkinson's part which then got thrown to me to sort out - THANKS DAVID!!).
Well my father, Philip Lawton, is going to lose weight and raise money at the same time for a worthy cause. The charity I have chosen is called "Share a Dream Foundation".
This charity works with children who have been diagnosed with terminal illnesses or have been in serious accidents which have left them with different types of disabilities. They organise days out, sporting events, summer camps, dream holidays, etc and to help with the financial side of these events they need all the fundraising they can get.
The launch of this "SPONSORED WEIGHT-LOSS" will be at the National County Fair in Birr, Co. Offaly which is over the June bank holiday weekend, which is the 2nd and 3rd of June. So if you want to contribute to this wonderful fundraising event please contact me at
