countryside ireland Chairman comments on Judge's ruling in Scotland.

Commenting on the Judge's ruling over the Hunting Bill in Scotland the chairman of countryside ireland, Mr David Wilkinson, said he was disappointed by the Judge's decision to neither grant a second hearing or interim relief in regard to the bill.

Judge Lord Nimmo Smith did say that he understands that his decision will be appealed and he did say that there had been discrimination against the petitioners.

countryside ireland understands that hunt clubs affected by the bill will continue on this season under the terms of the new bill. Mr Wilkinson says that field sports participants in Ireland should show their abhorrence of the ignorance and social bigotry in the U.K by supporting the Liberty and Livelihood March in London on September 22 where a large contingent of International support is expected.
